Gilbert Bridge

Despite the scorching heat, found a small shade to perfectly capture the busy Gilbert Bridge here in Laoag City.
Formerly Gilbert
Bridge (constructed in 1884 and named after then Governor Newton Gilbert), its
present structural design was intended to suit the demands of the times. It
traverses the pristine Padsan River and serves as the "gateway" to
the City of Laoag.
